Colony Little, Culture Shock Art

It’s Labor Day and I’m counting down the waning days of summer.  I’m just not ready to give up dreams of a Bain de Soleil tan!  I had to get one last Beach Basics Polyvore set in featuring classic Ray-Bay Wayfarers with a beach, the perfect beach outfit, and an artwork that inspired it all.  What I loved about doing these posts (besides taking a bit of a mental holiday from work which kept me quite busy and away from my blog) was exploring some new artists whose work helped me imagine the perfect summer holiday.

I really liked Gray Malin’s photography featuring aerial shots over beaches around the world. This piece is in the French Riviera, but this summer he shot some amazing beaches/resorts along the Amalfi coast.
