I have a 6th sense when it comes to handbags. It doesn’t happen very often, but once in a while a handbag will stop me dead in my tracks. My Pinterest page is filled with these inspirations. Here are some that caught my eye in the last couple of days.

When it happens I get chills, goosebumps and you literally have to scrape my jaw off the floor. This is what happened to me yesterday. Twice. Once when I spotted the gorgeous Paraty bag at Chloe yesterday and again when I found out how much this lovely piece of butter cost…. Sighs. It was not meant to be Chloe, but I adore you anyway.

I’m obsessed with all things that are Royal Navy and Tangerine these days. The bonus with this style is that it comes in a mini version with a cross-body strap. Tempting…

I really like the color blocking with the neutral tones and red (which reads orange to me in this picture). The only thing I dislike is that nameplate/business card slot looking thing on the front. This line contains this feature, and I think it cheapens an otherwise clean look. I think what I liked about this bag is that it reminded me of one I spotted last week on fashion blogger Garance Dore during Paris Fashion Week. Those glittered Miu Miu pumps are crazy and perfect!

Speaking of Miu Miu (and the Sartorialist), I love the pic (and the mustard satchel) he captured at their Paris Fall Fashion Week show the other day:

Anyway, enough of fall, what about Spring? What if you’re Vegan and turned off by all this leather and suede? What if you’re on a budget? In anticipation of the warmer temps, I am super excited by all things nautical, that’s why I adore this Patent “Vegan” red satchel made by Reveal. Angel Handbags is an on-line retailer focusing solely on Eco Friendly, Vegan bags. I love the braided Hemp ropes and subtle hardware on this one.

I’d use the bag to complete this Nautical themed look. Now that I take a closer look at the Diane Von Furstenberg scarf I’m a little mad because my dry cleaner “lost” a similar one I had from Michael Stars…hmm this reminds me that I need a new dry cleaner. Anyway, hope you enjoyed the bags!
