What happens when 29 artists including Amanda Ross-Ho and Kevin Appel “occupy” the Farmers and Merchants Bank in the Historic Core of Downtown Los Angeles? Painting in Place is a diverse exhibition where the artists, themes, styles and techniques are all woven together to explore self image and the space they occupied. The exhibition was sponsored by the Los Angeles Nomadic Division (LAND), a public art non-profit that brings established and emerging artists together in public art projects.
